1) Disney Auction Always gives A Letter Of Authenticity. You can see the two styles they offer on
this web site.
2) Disney Auctions did sell Coins, Gold Nuggets, and Various Costumes, shirts, and swords from the movie,
All come with a LOA from Disney.
3) Coins: there were various Auctions Disney had and they sold the following
coins:
A) 3 Gold Coins & 3 Gold Nugget - The
coins are the treasure that was laying around the cave. They come with an LOA. You should ALWAYS receive at least
a copy of the original LOA of this lot if purchasing one of the coins or gold nuggets.
B) 5 Gold Coins Lot - Disney did sell a lot
of 5 gold coins that were brushed with black. Again these also came with a LOA and if you purchase one, you should always
get a copy of the LOA.
C) Disney Auctions did sell the Cursed Coin but VERY few were
sold and they went for thousands of dollars (We know, we didn't get one either, we were outbid). You will NEVER get
a real cursed coin movie prop for $5.00-$10.00!
** Bottom Line, Never purhcase something from someone who says it is from
the movie and can not give you a copy or the original Letter Of Authenticity. The LOA is your treasure which adds value
any movie prop. Finally, never purchase a movie prop that was given from a friend, to a friend, to an aunt, from an
friend of an Uncle.....I think you get my drift. Buy Direct Or Demand the original LOA.
